Cassie Lang’s Stature Transformation Teases Fans in Ant-Man 3
Kathryn Newton joined the cast of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. She hinted that her character Cassie Lang may become Stature.
Ant-Man and the Wasp is the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film. It stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Paul Rudd, and Evangeline Lilly. The team has not revealed the movie’s release date, but it seems like it will release in 2022 or 2023. During the recent Investor Day webcast event, Disney revealed many details regarding the project, including the film’s official title. And after much speculation, Jonathan Majors is confirmed for the character of Kang the Conqueror.
The first movie of the Ant-Man franchise was released in 2017. The film is directed by Peyton Reed and talks about the original film’s sequel that started soon after its release. The second installment was then released in 2018, titled Ant-Man and the Wasp. The upcoming movie of the franchise is the third project and a sequel of the 2018’s film.
Both films did a profitable business at the box office. The first film collected a gross of $519.3 million, and the second one collected around $622.7 million against a production budget of approx—$ 195 million.
During the recent event, the involvement of actress Newton was also revealed. She will be playing the character of Cassie, which was speculated to be played by Emma Fuhrmann. Fuhrmann appeared in the role of Scott Lang’s daughter in the movie Avengers: Endgame. However, in the past two films, the Young Cassie was played by Abby Ryder Fortson.
The character of Cassie has the same super-powers as the Ant-Man. She is the daughter of Maggie and Scott Lang. she has not yet become Stinger or Stature. Cassie can shrink in size and manifested her powers after the first exposure to Pym Particles.
